We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Radiology Nurse to join our team at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Radiology Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our Radiology department.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional patient care and support to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional procedures.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including Consultant Radiologists, Radiographers, and Radiographic assistants.
- Develop and maintain a high standard of care for all patients, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Participate in the pre-assessment and day-case facility in Radiology, recovering patients and providing post-procedure care.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical skills, including patient assessment, intra and post-operative care, and sedation and patient monitoring.
- Qualified as a NMC registered Nurse.
- ESOL Level 2 or equivalent if English is not first Language.
- Literacy Level 2 or Equivalent.
- Experience of working in an acute healthcare environment.
- Evidence of continuing professional development.
- Mentorship training.
- Additional relevant specialist training.
- Experience working in interventional procedures.
- Theatre Experience.
- Experience of Recovery.
