Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled CNC Machinist to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have experience in setting up, programming, and operating CNC machines, playing a vital role in producing high-quality precision parts.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Machine Operation: Set up, program, and operate CNC machines.
  • Programming: Write and modify CNC programs from technical drawings to optimize machine performance.
  • Setup and Calibration: Calibrate tools and machines, ensuring all settings meet job specifications.
  • Quality Control: Conduct inspections of finished products to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards using precision measuring instruments.
  • Safety and Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Required Skills:
  • Experience: Proven experience as a CNC Machinist, particularly with CNC mills and lathes. Experience with Union machines and Heidenhain controls is desirable.
  • Skills: Strong analytical skills and understanding of geometric tolerances and technical drawings. Ability to make precise adjustments and solve machining problems independently.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with various inspection tools and gauges.
  • Your Attributes: Detail-oriented, strong problem-solving skills, excellent time management, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
