About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead to join our team at Derby Cathedral School.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safeguarding and welfare of our students, working closely with the Designated Safeguarding Lead and other staff members to provide a safe and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective safeguarding policies and procedures
  • Provide guidance and support to staff on safeguarding issues
  • Work closely with external agencies to ensure the welfare of our students
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture
