We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Contract Specialist to join our team at Henderson Scott. As a key member of our commercial team, you will play a pivotal role in securing new contracts and driving business growth.
About the Role:
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Contract Management: Drafting and negotiating bespoke contract terms, ensuring compliance with the Ministry of Defence (MoD) structure, and creating confidentiality, loan, license, and Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) agreements for approval.
- Business Development: Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through strategic planning and collaboration with customers.
- Contract Delivery: Ensuring the successful delivery of contracts by reviewing deliverables and acceptance criteria, and building and nurturing collaborative relationships with customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement contract management strategies to maximize business opportunities.
- Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and develop tailored contract solutions.
- Manage and negotiate contract terms, including confidentiality, loan, license, and NDA agreements.
- Ensure compliance with MoD regulations and company policies.
- Represent the commercial team in progress reviews and customer meetings.
Requirements:
- Experience in contract management, procurement, and negotiation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build effective working relationships with customers and stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and analytical approach.
- Eligibility for security clearance.
