About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Maintenance Engineer Trainee to join our team at SLB. As a Maintenance Engineer Trainee, you will play a key role in improving the efficiency and reliability of our equipment assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Identify opportunities to improve asset utilization, reliability, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) in our facilities.
  • Drive Asset Turnaround Time Reduction: Analyze and optimize maintenance processes to reduce downtime, improve productivity, and increase asset availability.
  • Conduct Reliability and Root Cause Analysis: Investigate equipment failures, identify root causes, and develop corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with maintenance, operations, and engineering teams to ensure seamless execution of maintenance activities and optimize asset performance.
  • Monitor and Analyze Performance Metrics: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as OEE, mean time to repair (MTTR), and mean time between failures (MTBF) to inform improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Automotive Engineering.
  • Experience: 0-2 years of experience in maintenance, reliability, or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and excellent communication skills.
