Position Overview

Health, Safety & Wellbeing Manager

Skanska, a prominent global leader in project development and construction, is committed to fostering an inclusive and responsible environment that contributes to a better society. We are currently seeking a Health, Safety & Wellbeing Manager to enhance our infrastructure team. The primary objective of this role is to develop and oversee the execution of the Alliance AMP7 Health, Safety & Wellbeing strategy and plan.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in formulating the Health & Safety strategy and action plans throughout the program, ensuring comprehensive data collection, reporting, and response.
  • Collaborate with project delivery teams to uphold safety standards on-site, conducting inspections and audits, as well as investigating and addressing incidents.
  • Establish and implement Alliance procedures and policies, providing training to ensure compliance while remaining informed on current legislation and best practices.
  • Organize, plan, and execute Tool-Box Talks, site briefings, awareness campaigns, and other communication initiatives.
  • Oversee and coordinate the Health, Safety & Wellbeing resources and team to guarantee that construction management teams receive adequate support and development plans.
  • Engage with key stakeholders to foster a culture of safety competency across the program.
Qualifications:
  • NEBOSH Diploma.
  • Graduate member of IOSH or higher.
  • Extensive experience in Health & Safety management within the design and construction sector.
