ROLE OVERVIEW
This role is pivotal in steering and managing the London studio and its personnel, executing the studio's strategic vision while enhancing educational outreach in alignment with corporate KPIs.
Key responsibilities include mentoring, coaching, and developing the studio team, as well as guiding the frontline team in their commercial skills while delivering fee-based educational programs.
The position demands a proactive approach to drive the team towards achieving income targets from studio courses, retail product sales, tNPS, and EMV goals, contributing to the overall business objectives in support of the GROW/GAIN and RETAIN strategies.
Additionally, you will oversee the advisory department, ensuring that all protocols are adhered to within established timelines.
A significant aspect of this role is adopting a digital-first approach to education, supporting ICONS and digital education initiatives, and allocating team resources effectively for various activations, including content development through the Studio Content Creation suite.
As part of the senior education management team, you will collaborate with the Associate Director of Education Operations to enhance the fee-paying course offerings, adhering to standards that support team growth and career development.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Achieve studio income, activity, and student enrollment targets by planning and scheduling studio activities in alignment with global and local strategies.
- Collaborate with the Associate Director of Education Operations to annually review and adjust the studio activity plan based on global P&L guidelines.
- Serve as the custodian of EdAc achievements for the London studio team, focusing on Craft Growth and business education.
- Design and implement a local Education Curriculum across all educational touchpoints, aligned with global standards and commercial priorities.
- Lead the development of high-quality Studio Education plans in partnership with the Studio Seminar Leader and Education Capability Manager, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Facilitate Studio Education presentations, dedicating time to educate within the studio as necessary.
- Support the Senior Education Manager in delivering internal capability training sessions.
- Ensure the advisory function meets all global KPI targets for protocol and reporting timelines.
- Provide a positive and impactful experience for all studio visitors, customers, and Wella Company team members.
- Act on feedback from Studio Education customer seminars and follow up on tNPS feedback with the studio and frontline teams.
- Manage the Studio Model within budgetary constraints.
- Represent Education as a credible industry partner, positioning it as a key business driver for Gain & Grow and Digital Transformation.
- Incorporate stylists' insights into multifunctional teams (Commercial, Digital, Sales, Finance, HR, etc.).
- Monitor and drive educators as influencers from the studio team, tracking EMV to promote Wella Education and its curriculum.
- Ensure the studio education team adheres to digital capacity guidelines for content creation.
- Execute and monitor defined Studio Education targets.
- Lead content planning, creation, and delivery for various educational events.
