Job Title: Paediatric Occupational Therapist
Location: Truro, Cornwall
Job Type: Full-time or Part-time
Contract: 3-month initial contract with the view of extension
Salary: £30-£35 per hour
Job SummaryWe are seeking a Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join our service for a temporary contract initially. The successful candidate will work with children with disabilities, aged 0-18 years, to assess and evaluate their occupational therapy needs.
Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments of children's physical, cognitive, and emotional development.
- Develop individualised treatment plans based on assessment findings, goals, and the specific needs of the child.
- Provide hands-on therapy to improve fine motor skills, coordination, sensory processing, and daily living skills.
- Educate and train parents, caregivers, and family members on techniques to support the child's development at home.
- Assess and evaluate the occupational therapy needs of children with disabilities.
- HCPC registered Occupational Therapist
- Experience of working with children
- Experience of Equipment and Adaptations
