Veterinary Nurse Position

Job Summary:
Rutland Veterinary Centre is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at our Uppingham branch. As a key member of our nursing team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of excellent clinical services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in all aspects of small animal veterinary nursing, including inpatient care, theatre work, and consulting roles.
- Work collaboratively with our dedicated team to provide a high standard of patient care and customer service.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of nursing protocols and procedures.
- Participate in our out-of-hours service, providing support to our clients and their pets.
- Work a 4-day week on an 8:00am – 6:00pm or 8:30am – 6:30pm shift pattern, with paid lunch breaks.
Requirements:
- 1 year of experience as a Registered Veterinary Nurse (preferably in a small animal practice).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work effectively in a team environment.
- Flexible and willing to participate in our 1:5 Saturday and Sunday day rota, as well as an equal share of bank holidays.
