Class 1 Skilled Fabricator / Welder

Scout Recruiting LTD is on the lookout for a talented and experienced Fabricator/Welder to enhance our dynamic team. The successful applicant will engage in fabrication and welding tasks utilizing Carbon, Stainless Steels, and High Nickel Alloys. This position offers a full-time, permanent role with a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package.

The ideal candidate will possess a profound understanding of materials and processes to produce high-quality fabrications, including Flare Tips, Power Burners, Process Burners, Skids, and Pressure Vessels. Key duties encompass interpreting engineering drawings, managing task priorities, and ensuring timely project completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret isometric and engineering drawings accurately.
  • Fabricate components based on provided specifications.
  • Prepare materials for welding processes.
  • Conduct Class 1 welding activities with precision.
  • Perform daily checks on all machinery to ensure operational efficiency.
Required Skills
  • At least 10 years of fabrication experience within the Oil & Gas sector.
  • Strong comprehension of engineering drawings.
  • GCSE grades A-C in Maths, English, and Science.
  • Excellent communication abilities.
  • Proven team collaboration skills.
  • Highly organized and efficient in task management.
  • Confident and assertive in decision-making.
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and conscientiousness.
  • Class 1 Skilled Fabricator/Welder certification.
  • Experience with pressure vessels and pipework.
  • Must reside within a reasonable commuting distance to the office.
  • Possession of a valid driving license and Forklift license.
