About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety Development Manager to join our Engineering team at Forseven. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the development of vehicle Safety across multiple programs, with a primary focus on Passive Safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead workstreams within multi-disciplined cross-functional attribute/system teams
  • Manage a team of Development Engineers at various levels
  • Ensure robust Engineering DVP & Asset timing plan is in place for all performance-related testing
  • Support the Test Facility Frameworks to reduce cost and increase efficiency
  • Ensure Training & Development programs are in place for the team
  • Support Issue resolution
  • Ensure Health & Safety standards are met for all testing
  • Share knowledge and learning around subject area with the wider team
  • Manage Team CAPEX & OPEX alongside team resourcing profile
Requirements
  • Experience in Vehicle Development within an automotive or manufacturing industry
  • EMC Development
  • Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Encourage and promote team culture
  • Actively seeks out and implements process improvements
  • Data acquisition experience
  • CAN software analysis & stimulation
  • Willing to learn and adaptable to change
  • Team management experience preferable
