About the RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Asset Manager to manage our existing investment portfolio and identify opportunities for inclusion within our Revenue and Capital plans.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the existing CPGI investment portfolio and identify opportunities for inclusion within the Revenue and Capital plan(s).
- Provide professional and technical services in the management of the investment portfolio, promoting safe working practices and championing Health and Safety.
- Work closely with the Projects Team Manager (CPGI) to identify investment opportunities.
- Manage a team of professional and technical staff, including identifying development needs and providing support on professional and technical matters where required.
- Manage and undertake stock condition surveys, producing a planned preventative maintenance programme.
- Support the delivery of energy and sustainability initiatives to be included within an improvement plan and preparing options appraisals.
- Deputise for the Building Services and Projects Manager.
- Prepare and deliver credible, accurate and timely reports providing professional advice and recommendations to the Board, GCC, funder and other statutory deadlines.
- Focus on continuous improvement, identifying solutions and supporting the team and stakeholders through change.
- Ensure compliance with Statutory requirements such as CDM duties, HASWA, DDA, Asbestos and Legionella.
- Ensure the management standards are adopted.
- Anticipate the need for change and provide solutions to the senior management team.
- Represent City Property LLP internally and externally as required.
- Responsible for ensuring Health and Safety and risk management procedures are understood and adhered to.
- Provide strategic support to colleagues managing incidents occurring outwith normal working hours.
