We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Building Consultant to join our Sustainability and Carbon team within the UK Environment and Health business unit.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Lead our BREEAM Infrastructure projects, including managing client relationships, project budgets, and team resources across a portfolio of projects within the public and private sectors.
- Work alongside our engineering, building, transport, and other teams as required to support client projects.
- Plan, undertake, coordinate, and supervise BREEAM projects.
- Engage in wider sustainability projects, including sustainability services, whole life carbon assessments, LCAs, and carbon reporting when time is available and not needed for BREEAM services.
- Support training and knowledge sharing with junior staff and work with other Ramboll teams to integrate sustainability management processes within their disciplines.
About You
- Demonstrable experience of delivering BREEAM Infrastructure Assessor projects.
- Experience of working alongside engineering designers and contractors.
- Wider understanding of sustainability and experience in one or more of the following sustainability skills: whole life carbon assessments, LCAs, and Environmental Impact Assessments.
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to effectively present to senior internal and external clients.
- Effective, collaborative, and empowering project management skills to ensure efficient and accurate project delivery, including managing national or international project teams.
- Excellent client and team engagement and relationship building experience.
- Experience of writing and reviewing reports, including contributions to Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) or Strategic Environmental Assessments.
