We are a consultancy based near Nottingham, providing industry-leading analysis to the pharmaceutical sector and supporting UK health technology assessment (HTA) decision-making. Our focus is on the technical aspects of evidence-based medicine and HTA, utilising methods such as cost-effectiveness modelling and associated statistical analyses.

The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated graduate statistician to join our friendly team at Delta Hat. This is an excellent opportunity to make a difference in a dynamic company. The ideal candidate would have a strong work ethic, and be team-oriented and hands-on in a diverse role.

Day-to-day work will be varied and can involve data analysis, contributing to technical reports and communicating findings with clients. The main tools that we use are R, for analysis, alongside Microsoft Office applications. You will have responsibility from the outset and be encouraged to further develop in line with your interests and skillset.

Requirements
  • A degree or equivalent in mathematics, statistics, economics, or other analytical subjects; and ideally a postgraduate degree or equivalent in medical statistics or any related domain
  • Competent in the use of Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook
  • Strong planning, organisation, and time management skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
  • Capable of working in a changing and fast-paced environment
  • An interest in problem-solving and critical thinking
  • Excellent attention to detail and an ability to assimilate information quickly and accurately
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Proactive, positive attitude with an ability to find effective solutions to issues
  • A commitment to ongoing learning and development
  • Fluent written and spoken English skills
