Eville and Jones is a leading provider of official controls to the food industry, renowned for our expertise in ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.
We are seeking a highly skilled Plant Inspection Assistant to join our team, working in poultry slaughterhouses and processing plants. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the integrity of our food safety and quality control processes.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Conduct thorough post-mortem inspections to ensure meat is produced safely and in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Verify that meat and offal rejected as unfit is removed, stored, and disposed of safely and properly.
- Maintain accurate records of post-mortem inspections and findings.
- Collect and input data to support our quality control processes.
- Collaborate with our team to identify and implement improvements to our food safety and quality control procedures.
**Working Arrangements:**
- 37 hours per week
- Shift/rota basis between 03:45 - 00:45 weekdays and 03:45 - 15:45 weekends.
- Working 4/5 out of 7 days
**What You'll Bring:**
