Automotive Studies Instructor

Havant and South Downs College (HSDC) is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Lecturer/Teacher of Automotive Studies. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment to ensure excellent student success and progression.
Responsibilities- Plan and deliver effective teaching, learning, and assessment strategies to meet the needs of our students.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the subject area, staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
- Collaborate with colleagues to design and deliver curriculum that meets the needs of our students and the college.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
- Participate in marketing and promotional events to showcase the college and our programs.
- Hold a Level 5 teaching qualification or equivalent, such as a Certificate in Education or PGCE.
- Have a high level of specialist knowledge of the subject area, with a degree in a relevant subject (desirable).
- Have at least 2 years' experience in teaching the subject area to full-time or part-time students (desirable).
