Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Stafforce Recruitment. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Mechanical and Electrical Assembly: Assemble and install mechanical and electrical components of machines, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
  2. Wiring and Pneumatics: Wire control panels and install basic pneumatics, making hoses as required.
  3. Workshop Duties: Perform general workshop duties, including drilling, tapping, and using hand tools, grinding, drill press, and lathe.
  4. Machine Refurbishment: Disassemble, clean, and refurbish old machines, pumps, and valves, working with cleaning chemicals.
  5. Commissioning and Testing: Commission and test machines, identify faults, and provide training to customers and demonstrate machine capabilities.
Required Skills
  1. Workshop or Service Engineer Background: Possess a background in workshop or service engineering, with experience in mechanical and electrical assembly.
  2. Technical Drawing Skills: Be able to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.
  3. Microsoft Office Skills: Possess basic Microsoft Excel and Word skills.
Work Environment

As a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer, you will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with opportunities to work on a variety of projects and equipment. You will be required to work on-site, with occasional overnight stays, and may be required to travel within Europe or worldwide on a limited basis.

  • Working hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:30am to 5:00pm, and Friday, 8:30am to 2:00pm.
  • Flexible start and finish times may be accommodated, subject to business needs.

Overtime is paid at time and a half, with double time on Sundays, although this is rare. Travel-related overtime is paid at 1.5 times the normal rate.
