Overview

Responsible for securing profitable sales of technology-driven solutions tailored to customer business needs. Engages in thorough research of sales opportunities, gains insights into customer organizations, fosters client relationships, and collaborates with partners and vendors to create compelling product and service proposals.

Key Responsibilities

Manages all sales initiatives within designated accounts or territories, consistently meeting established annual sales objectives. Develops business cases and high-level financial models, including ROI and TCO assessments, to effectively position and sell technology solutions that address business challenges. Engages with both large enterprises and SMBs through direct sales efforts, partnerships, and leveraging the existing client portfolio across various markets. Articulates a clear value proposition for clients, emphasizing business advantages such as OPEX versus CAPEX alternatives, ROI, and TCO. Collaborates proactively with Solutions and Services, Marketing, and Operations teams. Compiles and maintains a list of potential customers for sales outreach, utilizing insights from professional networks, industry publications, trade events, online resources, and business directories. Develops and sustains research on prospective and current clients, focusing on their organizational structure, brands, channels, and key relationships. Establishes and nurtures relationships with current and prospective clients. Gains a comprehensive understanding of client business requirements. Educates clients on the full range of solutions provided by Logicalis. Prepares engaging presentations, proposals, and sales agreements. Identifies and addresses client concerns effectively. Demonstrates a commitment to the mission of Logicalis through actions that align with the organization's core values. Maintains a thorough understanding of relevant Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations, as well as Logicalis policies, to ensure compliance and uphold ethical standards. Conducts oneself in a manner that meets customer service expectations.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities, but may provide guidance to Technical Consultants, Delivery Consultants, Customer Support Representatives, and Inside Sales Representatives.

Education/Experience/Technical Requirements/Certifications

Equivalent combinations of education and experience are acceptable.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.

Experience / Technical Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience in outside sales of Information Technology products (e.g., HP Storage, Cisco, IBM) and consulting/managed services. 3 years of experience in integrating products and services into technology solutions that fulfill customer business needs. Proven technical sales expertise targeting both Enterprise and SMB markets, with a strong understanding of Cloud, Managed Services, and Web 2.0 concepts. Fundamental knowledge of consultative and solutions-based sales processes for dedicated, managed, cloud, and hybrid web hosting solutions. Demonstrated ability in strategic thinking, planning, and execution, with a strong desire and track record of achieving results. A proactive attitude, ambition, and eagerness to join a high-performing Sales Team and contribute to a positive, growth-oriented culture. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Certifications

Relevant vendor certifications as necessary.

Strong technical and customer engagement skills. Self-motivated with excellent organizational, administrative, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Capability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Salary Compensation Range: $50,000 to $80,000, plus uncapped commission.
