Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Support Representative to join our UK North team. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a critical role in supporting the growth of our Material Handling and Low Level Access Channels to Market. Your primary focus will be on providing equipment for events, demonstrating equipment at events and customer sites, and executing pull-through marketing activities.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with our Business Development Managers to support their initiatives, including site surveys, demonstrations, dealer and partner training sessions, and event participation.
- Collaborate with our National Accounts Sales Team to support events, demos, and training sessions, as well as depot visits and cold-call visits to assist with call plans for large nationals.
- Identify opportunities to promote our value-added services, including training, workshop works, service contracts, and parts.
- Contribute to the development of sales tools, value propositions, and competitor comparisons for key Material Handling and Low Level Access Channel Products.
- Provide input to the Business Development Manager for a weekly 'Channel Activity' report.
- Assist the Business Development Manager as required with updating and closing opportunity pipeline in the CRM.
- Familiarity with low-level access equipment, heavy machinery, and material handling equipment, with experience conducting site surveys.
- Technical sales support background or experience preferred.
- Understanding of the sectors in which you will be working, including fit-out, warehousing, general material handling, and food and drinks production.
- Experience demonstrating equipment to customers.
- Experience loading and off-loading and towing a trailer is preferred, but training will be offered to the right candidate.
- Desire to be customer-facing and deliver and exceed on customer expectations.
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Office packages.
- Understanding or experience using a CRM.
- Fluent in English, with knowledge of any other European languages a plus.
- Willing and able to travel up to 75%.
