Electrical Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Electrical Supervisor to join our team at Government Facility Services Ltd. The successful candidate will have a minimum of five years' experience as an Electrician, ideally within an FM environment and/or secure environment, military, health or similar sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of Electricians and General Maintenance staff to ensure the smooth and safe operation of electrical services.
  • Coordinate and direct third-party contractors and employees to achieve operational objectives.
  • Develop and implement risk and compliance strategies to ensure adherence to industry standards.
  • Manage and maintain electrical infrastructure, including commercial or industrial electrical or building service systems.
  • Ensure good health and safety knowledge and practices are followed at all times.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications equivalent to C&G 2367 or 2357 (Electrical Installation) and NVQ level 3 in Electrical Installations.
  • Experience working on commercial or industrial electrical or building service systems.
  • A certificate in BS7671 - The Requirements for Electrical Installations, 18th Edition.
  • Excellent organisational, time management and people skills.
  • A rounded knowledge of risk and compliance and demonstrable planning & project management skills.
