About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Information Manager to join our team at Merz Aesthetics UK and Ireland. As a Medical Information Manager, you will be responsible for delivering a high-quality medical information service to external customers and internal colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with GDP, medical device directive guidance, and ABPI code of practice.
- Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement of the Medical Information Department.
- Manage the delivery of responses to medical information inquiries.
- Update and maintain standard response letters, FAQs, and medical information content for each product.
- Ensure adverse event reporting and pharmacovigilance responsibilities are completed.
- Lead the Medical Information and PV team.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant medical information and pharmacovigilance changes and best practices.
- Assess changes to business, systems, and regulation to maintain effective and efficient provision of MI and PV services.
- Review and improve MI and PV processes to drive service delivery and productivity.
- Maintain the Medical Information system and ensure IT systems function correctly.
- Liaise with global teams on IT system implementation.
Requirements:
- Life sciences degree (mandatory).
- Experience in medical information (mandatory).
- In-depth knowledge and awareness of the ABPI Code (desirable).
- Reviewer of medical and marketing materials (mandatory).
- Analytical skills with the ability to understand and simplify complex medical messages.
- Ability to communicate with clarity and accuracy.
- Knowledge and understanding of pharmacovigilance processes (desirable).
