Job Summary

SGS is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sample Receipt and Labelling Specialist to join our team. As the first point of contact for samples arriving at our Cramlington site, you will play a critical role in ensuring customer samples are received in full and without any issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and process customer samples in accordance with company procedures
  • Label and track samples accurately and efficiently
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve sample-related issues
Requirements
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good planning and organizing skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Scientific background or equivalent experience
  • Experience working within the food industry
  • Experience with AIS LIMS
