Position Overview:
Holt Engineering is seeking a dedicated Electronics Quality Assurance Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in ensuring that our electronic products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Control:
Perform comprehensive inspections, both technical and visual, of manufactured components and incoming materials to confirm adherence to stringent product specifications and to detect any defects. - Technical Interpretation:
Analyze technical drawings and specifications to fully understand quality expectations for both produced items and procured materials. - Issue Reporting:
Promptly communicate quality concerns to the Quality Engineer as necessary. - Collaboration:
Work closely with customer quality representatives during product evaluations. - Process Improvement:
Provide constructive feedback and suggestions to the Quality Engineer aimed at enhancing existing quality processes.
Compliance and Standards:
Adhere strictly to all company-defined GDPR and quality policies. Play a crucial role in supporting the organization in achieving and maintaining QMS (Quality Management System) certification to ISO 9001:2015 standards.
Attention to Detail:
Exhibit a meticulous eye for detail to identify even the smallest discrepancies, ensuring product quality.
Experience Requirements:
Demonstrable experience in a Quality Inspector role or a similar position, preferably within an electronics manufacturing environment.
Electronics Knowledge:
Familiarity with electronic and electrical components, including an understanding of their functionalities and potential issues.
Technical Skills:
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and data sheets to comprehend product specifications and inspection requirements.
Testing Skills:
Proficient in utilizing various testing and measurement equipment to conduct thorough evaluations of products.
Problem-Solving Abilities:
Capable of identifying and troubleshooting product issues, proposing effective solutions to uphold quality standards.
Technical Proficiency:
Skilled in using Microsoft Office applications for efficient documentation of inspection data and reports.
Industry Standards Knowledge:
Experience with IPC-A-610/ IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards, showcasing an understanding of best practices in electronics manufacturing. Experience in calibration roles or with calibration equipment is a valuable asset.
