PSV Chargehand

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled PSV Chargehand to join our Integrations Team Test team. As a PSV Chargehand, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and maintenance of our fleet of vehicles to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Servicing, maintenance, and repairs to Arriva and DVSA standards.
• Continuous improvement of vehicle reliability.
• MOT preparation, planned preventative maintenance campaigns, and quality checks.
• Vehicle fault diagnosis and ensuring reliability and maintenance is kept to Arriva Standards (Higher than DVSA).

Requirements:

• Level 3 NVQ/IRTEC Qualification (Or equivalent).
• Knowledge of PSV or HGV maintenance.
• Knowledge of engineering procedures and Health & Safety legislation.
• Inspection of vehicles for the scheduled maintenance - Desirable but not essential.
• Experience within a PSV Chargehand or similar role.
• Electrical circuits and systems knowledge - Desirable but not essential.
• A full UK driving licence (6 points or less) - essential.
• Ability to be passed fit for a PCV pre-employment medical - essential.
