Job Summary:

2 Sigma is seeking a highly skilled Senior Power Electronics Design Lead to join our team as a Principal Power Electronics Engineer. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of cutting-edge power electronics projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop optimized point-of-load converters for RF and digital modules, as well as standalone dc-dc converter modules.
  • Own hardware designs from concept to production, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate power electronics solutions into our products.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and test plans.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to improve our power electronics designs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 9 years of industry or research experience in power electronics design, analysis, and troubleshooting.
  • Proven track record of designing, testing, and deploying power electronics products.
  • Strong knowledge of EMI/EMC design and mitigation techniques.
  • Experience with space electronics design and qualification is a plus.
