Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Emotional Support: Offer emotional support and guidance to students facing personal or academic challenges.
  • Collaborate with Teachers and Parents: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies to ensure a holistic approach to student welfare.
  • Monitor Student Attendance: Monitor student attendance and proactively address any issues that may arise.
  • Work with Parents and Guardians: Work closely with parents and guardians to improve overall attendance rates.
  • Address Behavioural Concerns: Respond to behavioural concerns and implement appropriate interventions.
  • Collaborate with Behaviour Management Team: Collaborate with the school's behaviour management team to create a positive and respectful learning environment.
  • Manage Crisis Situations: Address and manage crisis situations effectively, ensuring the well-being and safety of students.
  • Liaise with Authorities: Liaise with relevant authorities and support services when necessary.
  • Work with Teachers and Staff: Work closely with teachers, staff, and external agencies to identify and address students' welfare needs.
  • Attend Meetings: Attend and contribute to welfare-related meetings and discussions.
  • Maintain Confidential Records: Maintain accurate and confidential records of student welfare interventions.
  • Generate Reports: Generate reports as required by school administration.
