Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to established monthly timelines for generating management accounts.
- Collaborate with budget holders to create cash flow and budget forecasts.
- Deliver financial reports, analyzing discrepancies against the planned budget in the monthly management accounts.
- Assist with daily bookkeeping and accounting tasks for each entity on an accrual basis.
- Supervise the daily and weekly reconciliation of all bank transactions using XERO for all entities.
- Prepare gross margin analyses and supporting schedules for the monthly accounts, categorized by service, customer, contract, and location.
- Oversee and assist with purchase ledger processing, supplier payment cycles, and payroll operations.
- Manage and support the credit control processes, ensuring the company meets its debtor day targets.
- Minimize input VAT leakage on expenses and purchases by following up on missing invoices or receipts.
- Handle the issuance of intercompany journals and the monthly reconciliation of intercompany accounts.
- Assist the group's treasury management in placing and calling deposits.
- Enhance purchasing and financial control systems, providing insights and recommendations for management.
