About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Loader Operative to join our team in Melton. As a Loader Operative, you will be responsible for collecting waste from designated collection points and returning containers where necessary.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect waste from designated collection points and return containers where necessary.
  • Operate machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Work with minimal supervision to achieve collection targets.
  • Assist residents as required and provide excellent customer service.
  • Ensure all waste is loaded correctly and safely, and that all spillages are cleared up immediately.
  • Act as a reversing assistant to ensure safe manoeuvring of the vehicle.
  • Adhere to legal requirements and the Company's health and safety rules and procedures.
  • Remain polite and respectful with all colleagues, members of the public, and client representatives at all times.
Requirements
  • Team working skills.
  • Able to follow health and safety guidelines.
  • Basic communication skills.
  • Good timekeeper.
