Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Mainstream Primary School with a Special Resource Provision (SRP).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with special educational needs, including Autism, Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties.
  • Work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans.
  • Assist with lesson planning and delivery, and provide feedback to teachers on student progress.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive school environment, promoting social and emotional well-being among students.

Requirements:

  • Graduate with a passion for working with children and young people.
  • Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and other support staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
