Divisional Accountant

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Divisional Accountant to join our Finance Business Partnering Team at Aneurin Bevan University Health Board.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality financial advice and support to budget holders within the Divisions of the organisation.
As a key member of the Finance Team, you will work closely with budget holders to understand and support the service in delivering on their financial obligations.
You will be a fully qualified accountant with excellent communication skills and significant analytical abilities.
The role offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth and development, with opportunities to work across several Divisions depending on demand.
We welcome applications from part-time applicants and those with a desire to speak Welsh.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide financial advice and support to budget holders within the Divisions of the organisation.
- Work closely with budget holders to understand and support the service in delivering on their financial obligations.
- Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to inform business decisions.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring the organisation's financial stability.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure effective financial planning and management.
