Hours: Monday - Friday; 9am-5pm (35 hours per week)

The Job Role

As Head of Operations for FirstPort, your role will involve:

  • Developing and implementing strategic plans for growth and commercial direction in your region.
  • Leading and mentoring a regional team of property managers to deliver exceptional property management services.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and customers to ensure exceptional customer service.
  • Collaborating with the business development team to develop bids for new business and product development.
  • Driving the adoption of new systems and processes to ensure FirstPort remains at the forefront of technology.

This role reports to the Operations Director.

Key Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in the Factoring industry.
  • A track record of leading large, geographically dispersed operational teams to deliver high-quality services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in liaising with clients and customers.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with experience in managing P&L and using data to inform decisions.
  • Able to build and provide leadership to a large team, developing future leaders.
  • Confident and articulate communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with all employees.
  • Able to identify process inefficiencies and drive cultural and process improvement programs.
  • Experience in or an understanding of the property market.
