Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

Timeplan Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced HLTA to lead core lessons in a SEMH Primary school in Ealing. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching pre-planned lessons and supporting pupils with SEND and SEMH.

**Job Responsibilities**

• Comfortable supporting pupils with SEMH, high-functioning Autism, and leading pre-planned lessons
• Ability to engage and support pupils' learning
• Supporting pupils with emotional regulation
• Developing therapeutic relationships with pupils
• Promoting and supporting the inclusion of all pupils in learning activities and maximising their achievement
• Strong behaviour management

**Requirements**

• Experience in supporting children or young adults with SEND and SEMH is desirable but not essential
• Able to de-escalate and support emotional regulation
• Valid DBS registered with the online update service or be willing to apply for a new one
• Available 5 days a week and able to commit to at least 12-39 weeks
