About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered General Nurse (RGN) to join our award-winning team as a Clinical Lead. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our care home, upholding the highest standards of care while fostering a positive and nurturing environment for residents.
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide inspirational leadership and guidance to the care team, motivating and supporting staff members in delivering exceptional resident care.
- Ensure strict adherence to medication policies and procedures, overseeing medication reviews and administration with precision and accuracy.
- Proactively monitor the well-being of each resident, identifying any changes in their condition and adjusting care plans accordingly.
- Conduct monthly audits, quality indicator reports, and other necessary documentation to maintain compliance and enhance service quality.
- Participate actively in weekly clinical meetings, contributing your expertise and collaborating with colleagues to address clinical risk areas within the home.
About You
To excel in this role, you will embody our core values of caring, support, honesty, respect, and accountability. We are seeking a candidate who:
- Possesses a valid PIN registration as an RGN.
- Has a minimum of two years of experience working in a similar care environment, preferably in a management capacity.
- Demonstrates exceptional leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams effectively.
- Communicates clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing, demonstrating proficiency in using IT systems.
- Has a comprehensive understanding of the Care Standards Act 2000, key lines of enquiry, and safeguarding procedures.
- Is adaptable and flexible, readily taking on diverse responsibilities as needed.
