Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Expertise: You will have a strong understanding of UK tax laws and regulations, including international aspects.
  • Client Management: You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, providing tax advice, and identifying cross-selling opportunities.
  • Team Leadership: You will lead and manage a team of tax professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of tax services.
  • Project Management: You will be responsible for managing special assignments and ad-hoc projects, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Training and Development: You will provide regular training on tax matters to staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional client service.
  • Reporting and Compliance: You will be responsible for preparing key client reporting documents, managing cost budgets, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: You will be a qualified tax professional, preferably with a CTA or ATT qualification.
  • Experience: You will have at least three years of relevant experience in tax, with a strong understanding of UK tax laws and regulations.
  • Skills: You will have excellent technical skills, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Software: You will have proficiency in CCH, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word, with experience in Sage, QuickBooks, or Xero being an advantage.
