Interim Transactional Supervisor

Job Summary:
Robertson Bell is seeking an experienced Interim Transactional Supervisor to support a Not-for-Profit organisation in Central London. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Accounts Payable and team management, with excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the Purchase Ledger, authorising high-value payments and ensuring accurate information.
- Directly line manage a team of Finance Officers, providing on-the-job training and being the main point of contact for queries and escalations.
- Maintain and build strong relationships with suppliers.
- Process expenses, payment runs, and aged creditor reports, ensuring accurate income allocation.
- Occasionally reconcile bank accounts.
Requirements:
- Experience working in an Accounts Payable role, ideally managing an Accounts Payable department.
- Proficiency in numerous finance systems and Excel, with the ability to use VLOOKUPs, formulas, and pivot tables.
- Experience managing a team of finance professionals.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with an eye for detail.
About the Role:
This is a contract role with an initial 6-month duration, working on a hybrid schedule with three days per week in the office. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a Not-for-Profit organisation and contribute to their financial management.
