About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our development team and contribute to the success of our established trading system development project with a large enterprise client.

This is a unique opportunity to work on a high-profile project handling millions of dollars of traded value each day.

Key Responsibilities
  • Automated Test Pipeline Development: Design and implement automated test pipelines using Playwright tests to ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • Requirements Analysis: Analyze, understand, and review product requirements to identify gaps and inconsistencies.
  • Automated Testing: Develop automated tests for software validation to ensure high-quality system delivery.
  • Quality Ownership: Take ownership of quality aspects of the system and contribute to the definition of test automation guidelines and standards.
  • Defect Management: Report and manage/triage existing defects, ensuring proper follow-up and actions are being taken by the team.
  • QA Best Practices: Promote and adopt QA best practices, contributing to their continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • QA Engineering Experience: At least three years of experience writing automated tests for web and/or non-web based applications.
  • Software QA Methodologies: Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes with fluency in Javascript/Typescript and Git/GitHub.
  • Test Automation Tools: Knowledge of Jest, Playwright, and BDD tools (e.g. Cucumber).
Nice to Have
  • Enterprise Systems Experience: Experience of high volume, high availability, high stakes enterprise systems.
  • API Experience: Experience building and/or testing REST and/or web socket based APIs.
  • Trading Applications Experience: Experience with trading applications (in production).
  • Performance Testing Experience: Experience with performance testing using K6, Artillery, or similar.
