Job Title: TECHNICAL SALES MANAGER – TIMBER ENGINEERING

Company Overview:

SRS Group Holdings Ltd has established itself as a frontrunner in the TIMBER FRAME INDUSTRY, boasting over a century of expertise and innovation in Timber Frame Construction across the UK.


Position Overview:

In light of an internal promotion, we are on the lookout for a TECHNICAL SALES MANAGER to spearhead the sales of TIMBER ENGINEERED PRODUCTS throughout Central England.


Reporting Structure:

This role reports directly to the Managing Director.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and pursue potential business opportunities within the market.
  • Collaborate closely with the estimating team to prepare and submit accurate quotations.
  • Provide detailed quotes and cost analyses tailored to customer specifications.
  • Comprehend customer needs and conduct thorough research on accounts to identify key stakeholders.
  • Maintain and enhance your database of contacts.
  • Prepare and present quotations to project and design teams.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
  • Proven face-to-face selling and negotiation capabilities.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience in the Timber Engineering sector.
  • Exceptional presentation skills.
  • Hands-on experience with Timber Frame applications.
  • Self-driven with the ability to operate with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication skills with a customer-centric approach.
  • Solid commercial acumen.
  • Proficient in IT, with good knowledge of Microsoft Outlook.

Location: CENTRAL ENGLAND
