Position Overview:

As a key member of the Central Engineering Team, the Central Engineering Projects Coordinator will play a vital role in ensuring that our facilities, equipment, and services meet the high standards required for food production.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Actively engage in achieving internal customer satisfaction, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and meeting technical standards and performance targets.
  • Oversee the complete lifecycle of capital projects within a food production setting, from initial concept through to final handover. This includes managing project timelines, budgets, and liaising with site teams, suppliers, and contractors to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Focus on construction and civil engineering projects, managing new builds and extensions across various sites, with budgets ranging from £100k upwards.
  • Coordinate all internal fit-out and facility requirements across multiple locations.
  • Collaborate with the legal team to ensure that all contracts and warranties are appropriate and effective.
  • Enforce company policies regarding health, safety, and environmental standards, ensuring that all engineering personnel adhere to safe working practices.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations through necessary testing of all new equipment related to capital expenditures.
  • Monitor contractor activities to ensure adherence to safe working systems, risk assessments, and standard operating procedures.
  • Facilitate communication between factory management and contractors to ensure clarity and understanding of project activities.
