About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Health and Safety Manager to join our team at BIMM Institute. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our students, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and implement controls to mitigate risks.
  • Provide training and support to staff and students on health and safety procedures and protocols.
  • Collaborate with the facilities team to ensure that all buildings and facilities are safe and well-maintained.
  • Investigate incidents and accidents, and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in health and safety management, preferably in an educational or similar environment.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
