We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Worker to join our team at East Ayrshire Council. As a Residential Worker, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and supportive environment for children and young people in our residential setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend to the physical and emotional needs of children and young people, ensuring their well-being and safety at all times.
- Develop and implement positive developmental experiences that promote the health and social care objectives of the partnership plan.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a nurturing environment that supports the needs of our residents.
- Contribute to the delivery of high-quality care and support services that meet the needs of our service users.
Requirements
Successful applicants will be required to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member in respect of Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults. We follow the national guidance in relation to pre-employment checks, and applicants will be required to provide details of two appropriate and relevant references.
