Job Title: Recovery Worker

We Are With You is a dynamic and supportive service for people in the BCP area, providing a wide range of services aimed at reducing harm and building recovery. We are seeking a skilled Recovery Worker to join our Single Point of Contact (SPOC) team, supporting service users at the beginning of their treatment journey within the BCP treatment system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct assessments and manage a caseload of service users
  • Develop recovery plans with clients to help them achieve their goals
  • Work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with other social care services and assertively outreaching hard-to-engage clients
  • Deliver harm minimisation interventions and psychosocial interventions within workshops
  • Support clients to achieve their personalised goals and provide ongoing support and guidance
Requirements:
  • Demonstrable experience of working in the health, social care, or criminal justice sector
  • A driving license and access to a vehicle
  • NVQ in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards this
  • Successful track record of working with substance misuse service users
  • Ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work effectively as a team player and prioritise tasks under pressure
  • Good written and oral communication skills, with IT skills and organisational abilities
