About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Year 6 Teacher to join our team at a prestigious primary school in Oxfordshire.

The ideal candidate will have experience teaching Upper Key Stage 2 and a proven track record of driving attainment and creating engaging lessons.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide pastoral care to children in Year 6, promoting teamwork and a conducive learning environment.
  • Teach the Key Stage 2 curriculum to groups of children, focusing on individual learning targets and encouraging strengths and weaknesses.
  • Develop maths ability and introduce fractions, statistics, and geometry.
  • Help children develop their writing ability by creating plots, characters, and settings for stories.
  • Monitor children's progress and report back to parents as necessary.
