• Meal Preparation: Prepare and cook nutritious meals for service users, taking into consideration any dietary requirements or preferences.
• Kitchen Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, adhering to food safety standards and regulations.
• Supportive Team Player: Collaborate with the team to create menu plans that cater to the diverse tastes and nutritional needs of the residents.
• Quality Control: Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency and minimise food waste.

• Experience: Experience as a Cook in a similar setting, preferably within a care home or healthcare environment.
• Food Safety: Excellent knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, with relevant certifications.
• Time Management: Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Organisational Skills: Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Positive Attitude: A positive attitude and a genuine passion for cooking nutritious and delicious meals.
• Flexibility: Evenings and weekends as required, on a rota basis.
