Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable SEN Support Assistant to join our team at a top London Primary School. As a Psychology Graduate, you will have a strong understanding of child development and learning, and be able to adapt your approach to meet the individual needs of our students.

Job Summary
  • This is a full-time term-time SEN Teaching Assistant role, commencing in September and running until the end of the academic year.
  • You will work alongside qualified SEN professionals, Specialist Teachers, and Educational Psychologists to provide support to small groups of students and on a 1:1 basis.
  • This role is ideal for an aspiring Clinical or Educational Psychologist looking to gain experience working with SEND children.
  • The role pays £500-£550 per week, paid weekly on a PAYE basis.
Key Responsibilities
  • Adapt and explain work to students, helping them to focus and engage with their learning.
  • Provide support to students with various Special Educational Needs, working as part of a team to cater to their individual needs.
  • Work in a school setting with children who have Education Health Care Plans, using your knowledge of child development and learning to inform your practice.
