About the Role

This is a brand-new Air Source Heat Pump Engineer position, working directly for a leading regional provider of domestic renewable heating systems, that has been created due to unprecedented growth.

Job Summary

As their ASHP Engineer for the local region, you will be responsible for installing and servicing air source heat pumps on residential housing projects for homeowners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and service air source heat pumps on residential housing projects
  • Work with homeowners to understand their heating needs and provide solutions
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify new business opportunities
  • Conduct site visits to assess and diagnose heating system issues
  • Provide expert advice on air source heat pump systems and their benefits
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience with air source heat pumps (ASHPs)
  • Recognized industry training and further education qualifications, such as City & Guilds plumbing and heating, S & Y Plan, BPEC, unvented hot water systems, water regulations WREGS, F-gas, heat pump manufacturer training, and electrical training
  • Excellent electrical and controls knowledge
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
