Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Geo-Environmental Engineer to join our team in Winchester. As a Geo-Environmental Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the wider Geo-Environmental UK team on projects for major blue chip clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct desk studies and walkovers to gather data and information
  • Lead ground investigations and land quality assessments to identify potential risks and opportunities
  • Develop and implement remediation strategies to mitigate environmental impacts
  • Collaborate with civil and structural engineers to design and calculate geotechnical foundations
  • Prepare interpretive reports and risk assessments to inform project decisions

Requirements:

  • First degree in geology, engineering geology, geotechnics, or geo-environmental engineering
  • Experience in the UK completing phase 1 and 2 site investigations, logging soil and rock samples, and site monitoring
