Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Learning Support Assistant to join our team at a primary school in Lambeth. The successful candidate will work closely with our specialist ASC provision to provide tailored support to children with Autism.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Offer one-on-one and group support to children within the ASC provision, focusing on their individual needs.
  • Work closely with the class teacher to modify and deliver lessons that cater to the specific learning needs of students with Autism.
  • Support the emotional, social, and behavioural development of students, contributing to a positive and inclusive learning space.
  • Assist in managing classroom behaviour, creating a calm and structured environment conducive to learning.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with children with Autism is highly desirable, particularly in a school-based ASC setting.
  • Strong behaviour management skills are essential for maintaining a positive and focused classroom environment.
  • Applicants must have a valid DBS or be willing to apply for one through Reeson Education.
