We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Controller to join our team at SThree. As a key member of our Financial Operations department, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a portfolio of clients and ensuring timely invoice payments.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring invoices are paid promptly and in accordance with agreed terms.
- Utilize effective communication channels, prioritizing telephone contact to resolve queries and drive payment.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to resolve disputes and improve client experience.
- Ensure accurate data analysis and query resolution, working closely with stakeholders and clients.
- Deliver monthly debt, cash collection, and DSO targets, producing high-quality customer statements.
- Work collaboratively with Sales Ledger, Sales Consultants, Placement Support, and Billing to maintain accurate customer records.
- Attend regular ledger reviews with Credit Control Manager/Team Leader, supporting ad-hoc initiatives as required.
- Select and escalate accounts to Legal or Trade Debt Partners where necessary, maintaining accurate records in D365.
- Ensure financial compliance and adherence to SThree processes.
- Significant experience in collections, with a good knowledge of O2C processes.
- Working knowledge of credit risk principles and experience managing a high-volume ledger.
- Expert communication and presentation skills, with the ability to review data and make confident decisions.
- Great negotiator and influencer, with a high degree of proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Excel, MS Word).
- Self-starter, disciplined, and detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- The choice to work flexibly from home and the office, in line with our hybrid working principles.
