Job Title: Appearance Planning Engineer

At Ryanair, we are seeking a highly skilled Appearance Planning Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Appearance Department, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating subcontracted maintenance activities to ensure the highest standards of appearance for our aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate daily maintenance activities for the Appearance Department
  • Develop and maintain planning systems and processes to control all appearance activities
  • Maintain strong communication with the primary CAMO planning department
  • Propose changes to departmental documentation related to appearance services
  • Liaise with maintenance coordinators and appearance providers to ensure timely completion of appearance activities
  • Arrange logistics and travel arrangements for staff, equipment, and materials
  • Compile service level reports and performance reports on a regular basis
  • Pre-authorise and record invoices for budget purposes

Requirements:

  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Proven Excel skills
  • Spreadsheet/Smartsheet skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Positive attitude
  • Ability to travel unrestricted within the EU

We are looking for a self-motivated, flexible, and dynamic individual with good communication skills. Experience using Maintenance software AMOS and experience in aircraft operations/engineering are desirable but not essential. All applicants must have unrestricted right to work and travel in the UK and in Europe as travel opportunities will be readily available to support the above responsibilities at the discretion of the Appearance Manager.
