Multi Trades Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Multi Trades Specialist to join our maintenance team at The Hyde Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to damp and mould remediation and general maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Wash and clean affected surfaces within customer's homes.
  • Treat damp and mould with specified mould treatments.
  • Carry out minor repair works.
  • Apply plaster to walls and ceilings and conduct repairs as needed.
  • Address general maintenance issues, including painting, tiling, and other tasks as required.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
  • Provide excellent customer service to customers.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working with damp and mould, as well as general maintenance.
  • Proficiency in using a variety of hand and power tools.
  • Knowledge of trade-specific techniques, materials, and safety protocols, painting & decorating trade qualification advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour.
  • Experience working in social housing is desirable.
  • Valid driver's license.
